The Valley of Sand is an autonomous state in the Periphery [1]. It is locatied on the edge of the Ocean of Salt, between Pagase to the northwest and Waji Valley to the southeast.
The Valley of Sand is part of the treaty with the Kingdom of Torumekia and required to bring a gunship and contingent when called on by the Vai Emperor. No specific gunship or chieftain is identified in the narrative.
